Ludhiana, June 25

Ludhiana district BJP president Pushpinder Singal today said Minister of Agriculture Farmers Welfare Narendra Singh Tomar would address a virtual rally on Saturday at 11 am. He motivated BJP leaders and supporters to make the rally successful and assigned them duties.

Addressing mediapersons here, Singal said: “People will participate in the virtual rally through online modes such as Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, WhatsApp etc. The masses will come to know about the achievements of the Modi government after the completion of two years.”

Targeting the Congress government led by Capt Amarinder Singh, Singal said the Chief Minister had held Gutka Sahib in his hands and took an oath that he would make Punjab drug-free. The drug mafia was still active in ruining the lives of youngsters, alleged Singal.

“Besides, the loans of farmers were not waived off. The Congress government had played with the lives of youngsters by showing them the dreams which never got fulfilled,” he added. He further said: “Today was a Black Day in the history of the country as on this day, Emergency was declared in India 45 years ago. The Emergency continued from June 25, 1975, to March 21, 1977.” He said the Congress had failed miserably in the state.
